Can you come today?
Often, yes. We keep same-day capacity aside because most rubbish removal calls are urgent — an agent inspection, a settlement, or a council pickup that’s already been and gone. Whether we can depends on what’s already booked for that truck, so call early in the day and we’ll tell you straight away rather than leaving you waiting.
Do I need to carry it out to the kerb?
No, and that’s the main thing that separates us from a skip. We collect from wherever it sits — upstairs, the back shed, the garage, a third-floor balcony — and there’s no surcharge for stairs or long carries. You point at what’s going and we do the rest.
Do I need to be home?
Not for kerbside or open-access jobs. Plenty of customers leave a pile in the driveway or send a gate code and we send photos once it’s cleared. For anything inside the property, or where an item needs identifying, someone needs to be there or on the phone.
Do you take mattresses, fridges and whitegoods?
Yes to all three. Mattresses go to a mattress recycler where the steel, foam and timber are separated rather than landfilled. Fridges, freezers and air conditioners are handled through an e-waste and degassing stream. Those items carry higher facility fees, so mention them when you ask for a quote and the price will already include them.
What can’t you take?
Asbestos, paint, solvents, oils, chemicals, gas bottles, fuel, medical waste, liquids, ammunition and large volumes of food waste. Can you clear a rental before the final inspection?
Yes, and it’s one of our most common jobs. Anything left behind at an end of lease inspection typically comes out of the bond at a rate well above what removal costs. Book the clear-out and an end of lease clean together and both happen in the same visit, in the right order.
Do you do commercial and office rubbish removal?
Yes. Defit clear-outs, old workstations, archive boxes and general commercial waste, scheduled after hours where the building requires it. If you’re relocating as well, it’s usually cheaper to run the clear-out as part of the office move.
Do you remove asbestos?
No. Asbestos removal is licensed work under NSW regulations and has to be done by a licensed asbestos removalist with the right controls and disposal chain. If you suspect asbestos in what you’re clearing — older fibro sheeting, some vinyl tiles, old eaves — stop and get it assessed before anyone disturbs it. We’ll happily take everything else once that’s handled.
Should I just wait for the council clean-up?
If your timing is flexible and the items are on the accepted list, a council pickup is free and worth using. It falls down when you need it gone before a settlement or inspection, when you’ve already used your allocation for the year, or when the pile includes things the council won’t take. That’s when we get the call.
